This painting was made during the World Harbour Days on the Wilhelmina Pier between the KPN-building and café Rotterdam in the port of Rotterdam on the 7,8 and 9th of september 2001.
The newspaper "Rotterdams Dagblad" invited readers to join a contest and the winners were given the opportunity to paint their ideas on a container from the company Maersk Sealand who sponsered this whole event.
